Partnering with TRIAD
Edward Pearson of Petersburg Lions Club and Evelyn Nease of Dinwiddie Lions Club joined together to address 40 attendees of the Dinwiddie Branch of Virginia TRIAD.
TRIAD is a partnership consisting of the local Sheriff and/or Police Chief, seniors, and senior service providers in a community who agree to work together to reduce criminal victimization of the elderly.
Lions Pearson and Nease spoke briefly on the Lions eyeglass recycling program in Roanoke provided by Lions Eyeglass Recycling, Inc. of Virginia and also on membership in Lions Clubs International.
An eyeglass collection container was provided by Petersburg Lions Club to be used at the Eastside Enhancement Center in Dinwiddie.
