“Thanks to All”

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of our customers as well as our great branch employees for inviting me, as a fledgling author, to be a part of “Customer Appreciation Days” at each of our respective locations.  Regretfully, a small pressure point issue from constant sitting prevented my presence for our Airport and Colonial Heights Branch Appreciation events; however, I wish to thank my Dad for filling in for me and will gladly reschedule a time to be there personally if the staff will still have me.

As a 23 year member of the Bank of McKenney family, I have long since realized what a tremendous group we have and what a pleasure it is to come to work each day.  Removing that employee hat temporarily to be present at our branches as the author of “How I Roll” was a bit scary – what if no one was interested?  Failure has never been high on my list, so I was very apprehensive.  But I was humbled by the great turnout and interest during the Appreciation Day book-signing tour.  I cannot express how much I enjoyed being in the branches, seeing old friends and making new acquaintances the over last two months.  For any unable to attend, autographed books are still available at our branch offices, or you may purchase it online at www.howirollbook.com – it is also available for the Kindle through Amazon.com.
