Prince George Community Day Event a Big Hit

On May 4, 2011, Bank of McKenney Prince George Branch, Trinity Title Agency, LLC, and Wyatt’s Florist held a fun-filled event to celebrate the local community and thank all its surrounding neighbors. It was a way to get community organizations and local leaders together to present information and create a positive place to discuss current events in the area. Hot dogs and refreshments were served. Bye Bye Birdie was performed by local N.B. Clements Junior High School and Select Ensemble, and Woodlawn Christian School Praise Dancers performed as well.

Bank of McKenney and Red Cross
Bank of McKenney offered a Red Cross “Heartsavers® CPR class” to its employees in March 2011, under the instruction of one of our directors, Harry Baird, who has been an American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Instructor for 15 years.

Thirteen employees accepted the challenge this year.  These employees took time out of their busy personal lives to better themselves and learn the skills that may one day save you or your loved one’s life!

The Bank offered the same course two years ago and it is worth noting that when combining the people who were trained for the first time this year and those who trained 2 years ago, we can say that nearly 25% of our employees have been “equipped” to help when needed.
